The field programs of CONSEIL PARENT ELEVE FEDERATION CORNEC are structured to deliver continuous, reliable educational enrichment throughout the academic calendar. Operating across municipal classrooms, the dedicated school multipurpose hall, and local outdoor communal green spaces in Trémeur, our initiatives serve children from kindergarten through the completion of primary school (CM2), as well as supporting transition programs for rising middle school students (collégiens).
Unlike occasional one-off festival days, our association emphasizes weekly programmatic continuity. Sustained exposure to creative arts, theatrical discipline, and cooperative civic tasks enables children to build skills incrementally, build meaningful relationships with adult mentors, and internalize positive habits of inquiry and teamwork. Every activity is mapped against developmental milestones established in consultation with certified educators.
Module 1: Artistic & Cultural Discovery Workshops
Our weekly workshops are conducted on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons immediately following regular school dismissals. Designed as an egalitarian alternative to costly private extracurricular studios, these sessions are open to all registered public school pupils without fee barriers.

Conducted within the school auditorium, the theater workshop focuses on vocal projection, body language, emotional articulation, and collaborative storytelling. Students work through theater sports games, scene improvisation without scripts, and guided character interpretations. This module directly builds public speaking self-assurance, helping quiet or anxious children find their voice in front of groups.
2. Tactile Visual Arts and Upcycled Sculpture
Our visual arts atelier invites students to explore diverse media including watercolor, charcoal drawing, papier-mâché, clay modeling, and relief printmaking. Emphasizing environmental consciousness, workshop mentors guide students to incorporate recycled materials—cardboard cartons, reclaimed fabric remnants, and organic plant pigments—transforming discarded items into expressive sculptures.
3. Musical Rhythm, Percussion & Acoustic Harmony
Designed to introduce foundational musical concepts without requiring expensive private instrument ownership, this module introduces children to hand percussion, glockenspiels, polyrhythmic clapping patterns, and choral rounds. Students develop auditory discrimination, rhythmic coordination, and the joy of ensemble music-making.
Module 2: Inclusive Performance Spaces & Stage Stewardship
A cornerstone of our association's physical footprint is the continuous technical management and enhancement of inclusive performance venues shared between the École Publique and the commune of Trémeur. We believe that when children perform, the venue must validate their efforts with dignity and acoustic quality.
Modular Staging Infrastructure
The association owns and maintains certified modular stage platforms (estrade modulaire) that can be configured into multiple staging formats—ranging from intimate end-stage arrangements for dramatic monologues to wide multi-tiered choir steps accommodating up to 60 children simultaneously. All platforms are equipped with safety guardrails and accessible wheelchair ramps to guarantee full physical accessibility.
Stage Lighting and Sound Engineering
Our technical committee stewards an array of energy-efficient LED stage lighting instruments, digital DMX control boards, directional microphones, and sound reinforcement monitors. Volunteer sound and lighting technicians conduct regular maintenance, test cable integrity, and run technical rehearsals alongside student crews. Shared Reading Circles and Book Swaps
To promote early childhood literacy and foster a love of books, the association maintains a free community book-exchange kiosk within the school entrance. Seasonal "Nuits de la Lecture" (Reading Nights) invite children to attend school in the evening with flashlights to hear stories read aloud by teachers, local librarians, and volunteer parents.
